We share your information with the following categories of third parties to provide our services:
OpenAI (Artificial Intelligence)
We use OpenAI's API to process your assessment inputs and generate your results. When you submit the assessment form:
- Your inputs (resume text, answers to questions) are sent securely to OpenAI.
- OpenAI processes this data to generate the response.
- According to OpenAI's API policies, data sent via their API is not used to train their models.
- Data is retained by OpenAI for a limited period (typically 30 days) for abuse monitoring purposes before being deleted.
GetResponse (Email Marketing)
We use GetResponse to manage our email list and send your results.
- Your name, email address, and generated "Superpowers" are stored in our GetResponse account.
- We use this to email you your results and subsequent educational content.
- You can unsubscribe from these emails at any time by clicking the "Unsubscribe" link in the footer of any email.
Cloudflare (Security)
We use Cloudflare Turnstile to protect our forms from spam and bots. Cloudflare may collect information about your device and network to verify you are a human user.
Google Analytics (Website Analytics)
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors interact with our website. Google Analytics collects information such as:
- How often users visit the site
- What pages they visit and how long they spend on each page
- What other sites they used prior to coming to this site
- General geographic location (country/city level)
- Device and browser information
Google Analytics collects only the IP address assigned to you on the date you visit the site, rather than your name or other identifying information. We do not combine the information collected through Google Analytics with personally identifiable information.
Google's ability to use and share information collected by Google Analytics is restricted by the Google Analytics Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
4a. The Encore Income Personal Review
The Personal Review is a paid, written review. It works differently from the free assessment, because a person reads what you send and writes back to you.
What the intake form collects
- Your name and email address.
- Your resume or a summary of your experience, examples of your work, and your answers about your time, goals, constraints and preferences.
- Optionally, the results of your Corporate Superpowers Assessment, if you paste them in.
Where it goes
- Email: your answers are emailed to me at support@encoreincomeinsider.com, and a copy is emailed to you as your receipt.
- Backup copy: a copy is saved in a protected folder on our web server that is not publicly accessible, so a failed email does not lose your work.
- AI tools: I use Anthropic's Claude to help draft and structure your review, and your answers are shared with it for that purpose. I review and sign off everything before it is sent to you. Anthropic's handling of that data is governed by its own terms and the settings available to me.
- No mailing list: submitting the intake form does not add you to any mailing list.
- Payment: purchases are handled by Gumroad. I do not see or store your card details.
How long I keep it
I keep your intake answers, our emails and the documents I prepare for you only while your review is in progress, and for 90 days after The Plan is delivered. After that, I delete them from my email and from the server. If you ask, I will delete them sooner.
Please keep your own copies. Save your receipt email, The Read, The Plan and any replies. Once the 90 days are up, I will not have them, and I cannot resend them.
6. Data Security
We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. However, please also remember that we cannot guarantee that the internet itself is 100% secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal information, transmission of personal information to and from our website is at your own risk. You should only access the services within a secure environment.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location (e.g., California, European Economic Area), you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, including:
- The right to request access to and obtain a copy of your personal information.
- The right to request rectification or erasure;
- The right to restrict the processing of your personal information;
